Stop Thief!

Here's the scenario: you have just spent days scanning in pictures that you'd gotten from a CD that had been ordered months ago and finally arrived. You post these pictures up on your page hoping to give it a fresh look. Not a week later you find your pictures all over the place and your fresh look is now old news. Why did you even go to the bother of scanning the pics in the first place when they were going to be stolen? That's a question many web page owners are asking themselves.

But this stealing isn't only limited to pictures; some pages are reposting word for word the works of others without giving a lick of credit to the author. Do you think it's easy to constantly be original? Obviously people who plagiarize know the difficulties because they can't come up with their own stuff!

There are few things more frustrating than finding you works on someone else's page. It's like the author isn't acknowledging your hard work, your hours of effort, or respecting your wishes to be different. In short, it's a slap in the face to plagiarize someone else's works.

I feel sorry for the page owners who have to deal with this on a regular basis. Let me make this clear, a good page is being force to close by all the bad pages that are stealing from it. WTF is up with that?! Tell me that I'm not the only one who has a problem with this!

I know I speak for the Quartet when I say that we will be harsh against those who plagiarize. All of us are intolerant of the stealing of pictures and especially the theft of words. You want to make a good page, more power to you, but it had better be your own works and not ripped off some other page.
